LEXAN Construction has over 25 years’ experience in design and installation of deluxe saunas and steam rooms, bringing the luxurious feel of a traditional Finnish sauna to your home.

Customised to suit your individual needs and requirements, our small experienced and passionate team will bring the highest level of quality and craftsmanship to the design, manufacture and installation of your sauna. We use top quality specialised materials and thermally efficient wood in all our saunas.
We will pair your sauna design with the perfect heater and accessories to suit your individual preference. Add your choice of either custom designed seating or choose from our wide range of foldaway and wooden seats and finish the look with your choice of mood lighting to create your desired effect.

We have a fantastic range of sauna solutions that can be installed to suit the majority of homes, options include indoor and outdoor units or modifications to existing bathroom or relaxation rooms.

All Lexan Construction commissioned work is managed from start to finish by our skilled team from the design stage through to installation, commissioning and final hand-over to the customer.

Traditional Home Saunas

Traditional steam saunas use steam to increase the heat and humidity. The steam is generated by pouring water onto sauna stones. This way you are in control of the conditions in the sauna. The temperature can heat to around 70 to 100 degrees from the steam generated from the cold water and the red hot stones. This environment is what delivers the benefits that come with sauna use, such as weight loss, lower blood pressure and improved mental health. Our full range of different models means that no matter your budget or the space you have to fit one, we’ll have a sauna for you.

Infra-Red Saunas

Infrared heat has some distinct advantages over traditional steam heat saunas. Infrared heaters warm the body in the same manner as natural sunlight. Far-infrared radiant (FIR) heat is a completely safe form of naturally occurring energy that heats objects by a process called direct light conversion.

Traditional saunas raise the temperature of the air to a very high level within the chamber to warm the body. Some people can experience some difficulty breathing in this extremely warm air. FIR saunas differ by instead of heating the air within the enclosure, FIR saunas heat the body directly.

The result is a lower energy consumption and deeper tissue penetration. In the FIR sauna, the body perspires and receives all of the healthy benefits but avoids the extremely hot air of a traditional steam sauna.

Steam showers can be installed into an existing bathroom or autonomous steam shower rooms. We use toughened glass for doors, sides & frontage dependent upon your individual needs & requirements. Our steam showers are all digitally controlled for domestic or commercial use.
